The Person Behind the Name:

Indrid Coald is the alter ego of Bear Cole. The name may be different, the mood may be different, but the same person is staying awake at night trying to decide if there is anything else that needs to go into this song.

Melody and Strange Turns

I create music based on my love for alternative rock, melody, and songs that can be a bit odd without losing their way. I prefer songs that are catchy enough for people to sing along to, but also memorable enough so that they will remember them later. Monetized and Palindrome are starting points for my catalog. My catalog is growing and I am leaving space for future songs to take me by surprise instead of creating a story around each new song.

Connected Through 1st Drop Music

I write, perform, and produce under the name Indrid Coald through 1st Drop Music. I have multiple artist identities, and they all provide different areas of my musical life space to grow and develop their own sound and style. These identities help me keep everything organized. Don't look at my other filing systems.
